Teams at Noggin Builders

Teams at Noggin Builders are a structured program for your child to build creative problem solving skills, collaboration, and STEM skills while having fun and making friendships.

Team members improve resiliency, flexible thinking, and communication skills.  Combined with the real-life S.T.E.M. skills we will use to solve challenges, these are the building blocks that will help today’s children grow into tomorrow’s future leaders.

Choose Destination Imagination for an engineering focus or Robotics for a technology/coding focus.
See details on these two programs below.

Destination Imagination (DI)

DI teams work together to solve a complex STEM Challenge and present their STEM work through an 8-minute team created performance.  They also showcase their creative problem solving and teamwork in an Instant Challenge.

DI Team Quick Facts:
– Open to grades 2nd-12th
– DI teams meet September through May, regardless of tournament advancement
– Practices are 2 hours per week; typically 4-6pm for younger teams and 6-8pm for older teams
– You can preference your practice day, although best team fit is the priority
– While we do allow teammate requests, we carefully evaluate the best fit for each child and believe that best overall team fit is most important
