Current Health Safety Guidelines – UPDATED September 1, 2023

General health safety:

  • For any type of illness, individuals must be fever, diarrhea, and vomit free for 24 hours without medication before attending an in-person program.
  • At any time, if an individual presents symptoms of any illness while at Noggin Builders’ facility, staff may request that individual wear a mask.  Depending on symptom(s), parent / guardian may be called and asked to pick up child from the facility.

COVID-19:

  • An individual who tests positive for COVID-19 may not attend in-person for a minimum of 5 days.
  • A mask must be worn while attending in-person on days 6-10 after a positive COVID-19 diagnosis.
  • An individual waiting for COVID-19 test results or who has been exposed to COVID-19 must wear a mask while attending in-person programs.

UPDATED MAY 12, 2022
Based on rising levels of COVID-19 transmission, we highly recommend masks be worn inside our facility. All other details of the March 7, 2022 update remain in effect.

Isolation and Quarantine:

  • An individual who tests positive for COVID-19 may not attend in-person for a minimum of 5 days
  • A mask must be worn while attending in-person on days 6-10 after a positive COVID-19 diagnosis.
  • As always, for any type of illness, individuals must be fever, diarrhea, and vomit free for 24 hours without medication before attending an in-person program.
  • If an individual who is not fully vaccinated is exposed to a positive case of COVID-19, they may not attend in-person for a minimum of 5 days, and must wear a mask when attending in-person on days 6-10 after last contact.

UPDATED MARCH 7, 2022
Based on guidance from the CDC and IDPH, Noggin Builders will no longer require masks in most classes as of March 7, 2022.  Exceptions of classes which will require masks include:

  • any class in which a teacher or participant has a high risk health condition (if your child requires this accommodation, please notify us asap)
  • any class in which any child under the age of 5 is participating

Other details regarding mask policy:

  • Teachers and participants are welcome to wear masks at any time.
  • At no time will any teacher or participant be allowed to pressure others to either wear or not wear a mask.
  • If at any time guidance suggests that masking is essential for the health safety of all teachers and participants, Noggin Builders may require masks for a class or individual activity.

All Noggin Builders teachers are fully vaccinated.

JUNE 1, 2021
Health & Safety Summary
– All class sizes will be limited to 12 or less children
– Masks will be worn inside the Noggin Builders facility at all times
– Social distancing or 3ft+ will be observed as much as possible
– Children will be dropped off at the exterior door; only enrolled children will be allowed to enter the facility beyond the vestibule (no adults, siblings)
– A touch-free temperature check will be done before entering the facility, and a parent / guardian must complete an online health screening prior to child being admitted
– Surfaces will be cleaned between each class, according to IDPH guidelines
– No food may be eaten in the facility; water bottles are allowed
