Weekly STEM Classes
STEM Explorers
Experiment, build, and create as you explore STEM through hands-on projects. Activities include many areas of STEM: investigate electricity, build your own vehicle, experiment with chemical reactions, and design an earthquake-proof building. These are just some of the challenges we’ll dig into as we build creative problem solving skills through STEM. New experiments each session!
Class Levels
Each class level has a different focus. Continue through all levels to build a full “toolbox” of STEM skills!
* Preschool: hands-on on STEM activities specifically designed for our youngest explorers
* Grades K-1: explore a wide variety of STEM skills as part of an introduction to exploratory learning
* Grades 2-3: focus on chemistry, the experiment design process, and physics (forces & motion)
* Grades 4-5: incorporate a variety of STEM skills into open ended projects, while building on those skills through the engineering design process
LOCATION:
All Monday-Friday classes are located at our Northbrook location.
(Saturdays classes are located at Stevenson High school – see Stevenson PREP website for information)
