Explore how to blend color with motion by making a color blender!
Trace and cut out a circle of cardboard and the same size of white paper. Use a spare piece of white paper to mark the exact center of your circle – fold it into a quarter circle, then place on top of the circle and the point will be at the center. (For older children, let them explore possible ways to find the center of a circle before introducing this method).
Color your white circle anyway you would like. Attach securely to the cardboard and poke a pencil through the center.
To blend the colors, rub the pencil quickly between two hands or along a flat surface like the edge of a table.
